オランダは基本的にホームドクター制です。ホームドクターが予約不可の場合は総合病院の救急外来で受診することになります。専門医に受診する場合もまずホームドクターに受診してから、専門医を紹介してもらう仕組みです。医療費が有料の場合は後日患者の自宅に請求書が届けられる仕組みです。
